Your journey continues to the majestic Himalayan town of Tawang, home to the famous Tawang Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India. Post arrival at Guwahati, we will check in to our hotel. We will go for Kamakhya Temple Darshan (optional and VIP pass not included) and spend our evening at Brahmaputra Riverfront. Overnight stay at Guwahti.

Post breakfast, we will depart for Shergaon. It’s a long journey, so we need to leave little early. We will go via Tezpur and will have a pitstop at Bhalukpong for permit. Overnight stay at Shergaon.

Post breakfast, we will go for Tawang. We will start getting close to snow clad mountains and if  we are lucky, we  might receive fresh snowfall as well. On the way, we will cross  Sela Pass and spend some time over there.

Post breakfast, we will go for Tawang Local Sightseeing. We will visit Tawang Monastery, Nuranang Falls (Jung Falls), Taktsang Gompa (Taktsang Monastery), Panga Teng Tso lake, Geshila Peak and Tawang War Memorial. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Post breakfast, we will go for Bumla Pass which is monitored by BSF. Bum la Pass is the last border with China and has historical significance of Indo Sina War.. Next we visit Madhuri Lake and Gurudwara.

Post breakfast, we will return from Tawang and stay at Dirang. Post Checkin at the homestay, we can take a stroll around the homestay, visit the clean cold river and spend time beside the river.. It is located in the middle of valley and is a sustainable homestay which has its own farms. Overnight stay at Dirang.

Post Breakfast, we will go for Mandala Top and local sight seeing of Dirang. We will  visit Sangti Valley, Dirang Dzong and Hot Water Spring at Dirang. We will have dinner made from locally grown vegetables and indulge in local wine tasting.
